Klaagliederen 4:12

SV	[Lamed.] De koningen der aarde zouden het niet geloofd hebben, noch al de inwoners der wereld, dat de tegenpartijder en vijand tot de poorten van Jeruzalem zou ingaan.
WLC	לֹ֤א הֶאֱמִ֙ינוּ֙ מַלְכֵי־אֶ֔רֶץ [וְכֹל כ] (כֹּ֖ל ק) יֹשְׁבֵ֣י תֵבֵ֑ל כִּ֤י יָבֹא֙ צַ֣ר וְאֹויֵ֔ב בְּשַׁעֲרֵ֖י יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ס
Trans.	lō’ he’ĕmînû maləḵê-’ereṣ wəḵōl kōl yōšəḇê ṯēḇēl kî yāḇō’ ṣar wə’wōyēḇ bəš^a‘ărê yərûšālāim:

AC	יב לא האמינו מלכי ארץ וכל (כל) ישבי תבל כי יבא צר ואויב בשערי ירושלם {ס}
ASV	The kings of the earth believed not, neither all the inhabitants of the world, That the adversary and the enemy would enter into the gates of Jerusalem.
BE	To the kings of the earth and to all the people of the world it did not seem possible that the attackers and the haters would go into the doors of Jerusalem.
Darby	The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should enter into the gates of Jerusalem.
ELB05	Die Könige der Erde hätten es nicht geglaubt, noch alle Bewohner des Erdkreises, daß Bedränger und Feind in die Tore Jerusalems kommen würden.
